This was a hectic but fantastic weekend of art sales and shopping. Calyx Art Exhibition and Sale is one stop art shopping at its finest. For a weekend in the fall and another in spring, Calgary art collectors and browsers have the opportunity to experience the art of 70 juried artists under one roof…it is a visual feast. Thanks to all my friends and fans who popped by and kudos to my fellow CCPS painters who were represented or who came to support the show. Posted are the 5 pieces I sold. I enjoyed yesterday’s show so much, that I had to return today and do some shopping: I love my new Lisa McGrath pottery mugs. They say shopping is theraputic. I’m not much of a shopper but I do love my art retail therapy. Get out and do some art shopping or browsing…it feels great!
